Content safety

Made so you never have to worry about what it might ask.

Content is the whole point of this game - so every single prompt is hand-written and checked before it ships. Here's exactly what that means, and where the lines are.

The Family Filter What "bolder" means Dare Safety Standard Truth Sensitivity The Family category Age rating

The Family-Friendly Filter

On by default. Out of the box, every category is limited to all-ages content - nothing you'd mind a younger cousin seeing.

Adults can turn it off in Settings for bolder prompts in some categories, behind a one-time confirmation. It's a self-declared choice, not a hard age gate - the industry standard for this kind of content.

The Family category is always all-ages - it ignores the filter entirely, and it never mixes into Party Mode. Zero surprises for mixed-age gatherings.

What "bolder" means - and what it never does

Some categories include bolder, more grown-up questions when the Family-Friendly Filter is off. The filter is on by default, and the content tops out at flirty/romantic - never explicit.

  • The ceiling is flirty, romantic, mildly suggestive. That's it.
  • No explicit or adult content exists in the app at all - it was deliberately never written.

Our Dare Safety Standard

Every dare is checked to ensure it has none of the following:

  • No alcohol, drugs, or consuming any foreign object
  • No driving or operating vehicles or machinery
  • No real physical risk - heights, fire, sharp or hot objects
  • No leaving alone, and nothing involving strangers
  • No forced physical contact - anything involving another person is trivially declinable
  • No sharing passwords, financial, or sensitive personal data
  • No hate speech or targeting protected groups
  • No self-harm, body-shaming, or humiliation as the point
  • No illegal activity, ever
  • Completable indoors, in under about two minutes

Our Truth Sensitivity Standard

  • Personal is fine; trauma, abuse, medical, legal, or financial disclosure is never the ask.
  • Every prompt is always skippable - passing is never framed as "chickening out."
  • Family-tier truths never touch romance, dating, or body topics.
Change Question exists for exactly this. If any prompt doesn't sit right with your group, one free tap replaces it - no ads, no cooldown, no limit.

The Family category, in one line

The Family category is always all-ages - it ignores the filter entirely and never blends into Party Mode. If your gathering is mixed-age, this is the zero-surprise choice.

Age rating

The app carries a store age rating in the Teen / 12+ range, and that rating already accounts for the bolder, filter-off content. The exact rating is confirmed on each store listing at launch.
