Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By signing in and using NutriLift, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the app on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Who can use NutriLift

NutriLift is intended for users aged 18 and over. You can unlock the app with a NutriLift Pro subscription, or, if you are a member of a partner gym, with a free promo code from that gym. A gym code costs you nothing. Promo codes are available on Google Play; on the App Store, NutriLift is unlocked by subscription.

3. Your account, subscription and promo code

• You are responsible for keeping your Google or Apple account secure. We authenticate you through those providers and never handle your password.
• NutriLift Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. The price shown in the app is the price for your store account region, and it is the price you pay.
• If a free trial is offered to you, it runs for the period shown at purchase. You are charged only when the trial ends, and you can cancel before then at no cost.
• The subscription renews automatically each month unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your NutriLift account does not cancel the subscription, because the subscription lives with your store account. Cancel it there as well.
• Payments and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their own policies. We do not process payments and never see your card details.
• Promos are issued by partner gyms for their members. Do not share your code. We may block a code or account that is misused.
• You may delete your account at any time in Settings, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

When using NutriLift you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
• Attempt to access data that is not yours, or probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content except as allowed by law.

5. Health and fitness risk disclaimer

Nutritional recommendations, calorie targets, meal plans, workout suggestions, and health-related information generated by NutriLift are estimates only and may not be accurate for every individual. You are responsible for evaluating whether any recommendation is appropriate for your personal circumstances. If you have a medical condition, allergies, dietary restrictions, are pregnant, or have other health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on information provided by the app.

6. User responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide, including age, weight, height, activity level, allergies, dietary preferences, and goals, is accurate and up to date. NutriLift is not responsible for recommendations that are affected by inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by users.

7. Allergies and dietary preferences

NutriLift attempts to respect the allergies and dietary preferences you provide. However, food databases, recipes, and nutritional information may contain inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for verifying ingredients and allergen information before consuming any food.

8. Nutritional accuracy

Nutritional values, calorie estimates, portion sizes, and food information are provided for informational purposes only and may differ from actual values. NutriLift does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the nutritional information contained in the app.

9. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content (excluding your own data) belong to NutriLift or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose while your access is active.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit any part of the app except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

10. Third party services

NutriLift relies on third party services including Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Supabase, and Sentry. We are not responsible for interruptions, security incidents, or failures caused by third party providers beyond our reasonable control.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep NutriLift available and working offline, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.

12. Force majeure

NutriLift shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, governmental actions, cyberattacks, power failures, or failures of third party infrastructure providers.

13. Termination and suspension

You may stop using NutriLift and delete your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to NutriLift without prior notice where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, attempted unauthorized access, abused the service, or created legal, security, or operational risks.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

NutriLift is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutriLift, its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of the app.

In no event shall NutriLift's total liability exceed the amount paid by the user for access to the app during the preceding twelve months. Where the app is provided free of charge, NutriLift's total liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of India.
